Catch All Listings

Catch All Listing - A listing used by pay per click search engines to monetize terms that are not yet funded. This technique may be valuable if you have very competitive key words, but is not ideal.

By taking any unfunded clicks the search becomes untargeted. Targeted clicks are what pay per click search engines claim to have value on, so paying for catch all listings is gambling that the conversion rate will be decent on totally untargeted clicks.

Catch All Listings may be an attractive idea on a theme specific search engine though, as they are already pre qualified clicks.
