Link (also called hyperlink) - the hypertext or image which allows traffic to move from one location to another on the internet. Links are one of the fundamental basis of the web. For a web site to be successful and comprehensive there should be internal links, inbound external links, and outbound links.

It is a good idea to include a small directory on a web site to exchange links with similar sites.
