Internal Web Site Linking

Step 4: Meta Tags

Step 5: Internal Web Site Linking

When you link form one page to the next, you should have a logical progression to your viewers. A good tip for site design is to answer an upcoming question with a link.

Many top search engines base large portions of their algorithms on your links. For this reason it is important to have a good internal and external link structure. The internal linking structure you use should have navigation, a site map, and links embedded in the text. The words in these links should define what the link recipient is. Never use "home" instead use "Search Marketing Info."

At the bottom and top of the page there is breadcrumb navigation. This tells you where you are in a web site and adds to the overall linking structure of the web site. Though I would admit it still needs work, here is our site map.

Your site map should be quick loading and free of advanced long dowloading time design.
